Introduction of quartz sand dryer
Sand dryer is also called quartz sand drying machine, is a kind of drying equipment for drying granular materials, especially sand, river sand, quartz sand, with excellent drying effect. The sand dryer has certain requirement of the material humidity and particle size range in the drying process. We often use sand dryer to handle yellow sand in the dry powder mortar industry and common sand in the casting industry. Different industries need dry materials with different water contents. The sand dryer machine can keep the water content below 0.5%-1% which completely meets the industrial requirement.
Working principle of rotary dryer for quartz sand
The material to be dried is pushed back immediately by spiral board when enters the shell from feeding tank and feeding chute. Because the dryer is installed in slope, material flows to the back end under gravity and rotation force, meanwhile, it is lifted by board repeatedly and thrown down accordingly, which make the material form even curtain, and exchange heat sufficiently with inner the heat flow. In the end, water in the material is dried by repeatedly scattering.
